Ben Robinson

Ben Robinson is a multi-award winning media professional and trainer. BBC trained, he has broad experience in both public service broadcasting and the commercial arena. His area of expertise is in media training, presentation skills and project management and he is constantly in demand by top corporations.

Ben's training experience in media led him to be Director of the Midlands Media Training Consortium and he continues to be a consultant on a variety of training initiatives worldwide.

Using his TV production experience; shooting, editing, budgeting and production management he brings to his trainings all the experience of developing and leading large production teams and training those new to television.

In 1995 Ben became managing director of Mentorn Barraclough Carey's Midlands office. Here he recruited and ran large production teams on a raft of quality long-running series including Question Time for BBC1 and the BAFTA nominated ‘Massive'.

In 2000, Ben set up his own independent production company, Isis Media, making series for most of the major channels. With awards from the Commission For Racial Equality and The Royal Television Society, the company has built a reputation for programming excellence in many genres. After approaches from the universities of Birmingham, Lincoln and Leeds, Ben has mentored young newcomers to the industry and trained graduates in a range of formalised programmes.
